Artistic, doncha think? This is one of the many fast-decaying churches in Bolivia. This one sits in a bizarre five-mile-wide natural ampitheatre called the Maragua Crater, near Sucre. Travelling around the country, it soon becomes evident that the country's true religion is in fact football (aka soccer). The best-kept part of any village is the pitch, and there's often a crumbling old church next to it. |
